Are you an organized, energetic, creative event specialist who is passionate about engaging diverse audiences? Do you love what you do, value the benefits of working from home? If you are, then you are the ideal candidate to take on the Manager, Events role for JA Canada.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Manager, Events is responsible for the planning and execution of JA Canada’s signature event- the Canadian Business Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Celebration Event (cbhf.ca) (approx. 600 guests at Metro Toronto Convention Center, approx. 30 sponsors).
The Manager is also responsible for year-round management of the CBHF property (website, Brookfield installation, selection process, communications & marketing).
The Manager of Events may also support partner and/or program event planning and execution from time to time (i.e. Youth Summits and Conferences, online virtual events, etc).
This is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal candidate will be a strong project manager both inside and outside the organization, relationship manager and builder with vendors, natural collaborator with diverse event planning skills, experience with donor/sponsor activation and engagement with attention to creating and using established processes.
